Kwa nini bei zetu ziko wazi
Most studios hide their pricing. We printed ours on a poster and hung it on the wall. Here is the reasoning.
Kila mteja anayeuliza "bei ni ngapi?" anataka jibu moja kwa moja. Hataki mkutano wa dakika arobaini kabla ya kujua kama anaweza kumudu.
So we published the whole rate card. Every line item, every price, on a poster anybody can screenshot.
Three things happened
Time-wasting enquiries dropped. People who cannot afford a company profile now find that out in four seconds instead of after two phone calls. That is better for both sides.
Negotiation got shorter. When the price is published, it is a fact rather than an opening position. Very few people try to haggle with a wall.
Trust went up. Clients told us the published price was the reason they called. In a market where everyone quotes based on how expensive your shoes look, a fixed public number reads as respect.
The catch
You have to actually hold the price. The moment you quietly charge one client more, the published card becomes a lie and you have lost the only advantage it gave you.
Bei ziko ukutani. Hazibadiliki kwa sababu ya nguo unazovaa.
